Edison's Mission
It is our mission at Edison Middle School to work collaboratively to place the focus on the academic, social, and emotional needs of each individual student first and ensure that ALL students are prepared for post-secondary education.

Upcoming events:
For home vollleyball events all Edison students MUST have their school ID to be admitted to the event. Admission is $1 for students and $2 for adults. Students are expected to have a ride home 15 min. after the completion of the event. Students are to leave school at 2:40 then return at 4 pm using door #6. Students are to enter gym only after receiving an admission ticket.
Thurs., Feb. 25
7th and 8th grade boys basketball banquet beginning at 5:30 pm in the cafeteria.
Sat., Feb. 27
Wrestling regionals in Shelbyville (weigh ins begin at 7:30 am with the meet beginning at 9am)
7VB regionals - Congrats to Coach Breitbarth and the 7th grade team as they are the #1 seed. Their first regional game will be at 12:30 pm today (Sat 2/27) at Urbana Middle School; 6 pm game if we win at 12:30. The championship game will be Wed., March 2 at 6 pm
Monday, Feb. 29
Mandatory meeting for track member, track member parent(s), coaches and AD in the Edison cafeteria beginning at 5:30 pm
At the meeting the practice schedule and meet schedule will be handed out. In order to participate in track the track member must be able to attend 90% of practices and meets. We will also be discussing the possibility of track tryouts at this meeting.

Thurs., March 3
Scholastic Bowl at St. Joe, 3:15 pm
Tues., March 8
Scholastic Bowl at Edison versus Danville South View, 4 pm
Thurs., March 31
Scholastic Bowl at Edison versus Holy Cross, 3 pm
GOLF: any current 6th or 7th grader interested in participating in the IESA golf tournament in Sept., 2016 please contact Ms. Borchardt by Feb 29, 2016.
