Edison's Mission
It is our mission at Edison Middle School to work collaboratively to place the focus on the academic, social, and emotional needs of each individual student first and ensure that ALL students are prepared for post-secondary education.
Mandatory Band Parent Meeting: make plans to attend tonight's (Monday January 11) band parent meeting, 6 pm in the auditorium. Please contact Ms. Branch if you are unable to attend: branchki@champaignschools.org
PTSA Meeting: the PTSA meeting is also tonight (Monday January 11) at 6:30 pm in the Edison Library. Agenda is attached. If your New Year's Resolution was to become more involved in your child's middle school experience, join us at Monday night's meeting.
Edison Clubs: a list of Edison clubs is attached.
Honor Roll Celebration: the 2nd quarter honor roll celebration will be Friday January 15. Parents and friends, if you'd like to donate snacks for the party, please mark your student's grade level on the package and drop off in the Student Services office on Friday morning.
Dance: the next Edison Dance will be Friday February 12, 6-8 pm at school. Mark your calendars; details coming soon!
Thanks for the Box Tops collected so far this year! We will receive a check for $260 for the Box Tops we have collected and now it's time to start again. Mrs. Wells is collecting them for new PE equipment. You may send them into her or give them to any teacher to put in her mailbox. Thanks for the support!!
