[Edison-PTSA] Announcement

Dear Edison Community:

 

It is with a heavy heart that after nearly 18 years with Unit 4 as a coach and an administrator, I am resigning from my position as Assistant Principal of Edison Middle School, effective September 29, 2014, to accept the Principal position at MacArthur High School in Decatur, Illinois.  After careful consideration, I agreed to residency and a three-year contract with Decatur Public Schools, which will take me back to the school district that gave me my first start in administration.  My last day is Friday, September 26th.

 

I want to thank each of you for welcoming me into your lives and for the opportunity to make an impact on the lives of our students here at Edison.  I can't express how much that meant to me.  I can only hope I have had some positive impact on the future of Edison.

 

It has been a pleasure to work alongside such a dedicated staff and with such a vibrant community of students and families.  The District is aware of my decision and will be working closely with the administrative team to fill the position and ensure Edison's continued success.
