• Transition Day Friday, August 17th is Transition Day for 6^th graders and new 7^th and 8^th graders only.  6^th Grade Transition is  8-10:30am. New 7^th and 8^th graders Transition will be from 8-9am There will be an optional parent meeting from 8-8:30am. You will be able to tour Edison and meet the administration. This is for new students to Edison only! There will be no bus service so parents/guardians will have to arrange for transportation.

 

• First Day of School: The first day of school is Wednesday, August 22^nd.

 

• Poms Squad Tryouts: Edison Poms Squad Tryouts (Dance / Cheer Team) All 6th, 7th, 8th Grade Edison students are welcome to tryout. Wear comfortable exercise clothes and shoes and show up to ALL 3 tryout days (required). • Many Updates for Edison over the Summer: Exciting news for Edison students and parents, this summer Edison had air conditioning added to classrooms, the auditorium, cafeteria, and gymnasium. New sensor lights (energy efficient) have been added as well.
