PTSA Cookie Walk: Edison PTSA is once again sponsoring a cookie walk for the staff. It will be after school on Monday, December 19th. We are looking for donations of holiday cookies and candy and volunteers to fill bakery boxes on the afternoon of the 19th. Donations can be dropped off in the staff lounge on Monday morning. If you can volunteer in any way, please contact Lynnette Dodds at lynnette24@sbcglobal.net.

Tap In Leadership: Attached is a flyer about Tap In Leadership. The open house is Dec 14 from 3-6 for parents to check it out!

Edison Choir: A couple notes for Edison Middle School Choir: Rehearsal Monday (December 12^th), 2:40-4:00 MANDATORY DRESS REHEARSAL – Tuesday December 13^th from 7:00-9:00 @ Jefferson – Parents/Students are responsible for their own transportation CONCERT – Wednesday, December 14^th at 7:30 @ Jefferson – Call time is 6:45 (Be at Jefferson at 6:45)

For anyone interested in singing at the concert on Wednesday, December 14^th – the next 4 rehearsals are mandatory.

6BBB and 8BBB will have individual/team pictures taken at 3 pm

WR at Argenta (weigh in at 5:30 with meet beginning at 6 pm)

Wrestling team will have individual/team pics taken in the north gym

Wed., Dec. 14

6BBB vs Mahomet 6A at Douglas Center, 6:15 pm

Study: Edison offers a couple of different options for students who need extra help. Listed below are some study groups and clubs to help students.

Read Attack – Wednesdays for all grade levels from 2:45-3:45pm.

Mr. Holden – 6^th

Ms. Kerestes – 7^th

Ms. Watson – 8^th

Math Attack –

Ms. Whitfield -6^thGrade and Galaxies Team – Thursdays

Ms. Decker – 8^th Grade and Constellations Team – Tuesdays

Computer Based Math and Reading Assistance

Ms. Jacob – Computer Lab – Tuesdays and Thursdays

Homework Club – Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday w/ Ms. Stanke in Room 122.
