January 16
- No School: There is no school today (Monday 16th) in observance of Martin Luther King day.
- International Day: Edison is excited to announce there will be an International Day on March 15th from 8am-11am. Edison is a very diverse school and wants to celebrate different cultures from around the world. This is a great event for the school and we hope students can donate items and participate in this special event. See attached letter for more info. - Quarterly Newsletter: Attached is the quarterly newsletter from Edison.
- Honor Roll Party: The Honor Roll party is Friday, January 20th for students who made the Honor Roll for 2nd quarter. The students look forward to this reward for their hard work. We are asking parents to donate food items. The food items don't have to be individually wrapped and no drinks. Bulk food items like chips, cookies, crackers etc. Please drop off the food donations on January 20th. All donations are greatly appreciated.
8th Grade Parents below are important announcements for you!
- High School Registration: Parents should have received a letter from the district regarding high school registration. High School counselors will be at Edison February 7th . Edison's counselor will give course books to students soon to help them select their courses for 9th grade.
- Career Crusing: 8th graders at Edison participate in a computer program called Career Cruising. This program allows students to explore their interests and helps them figure out what career they might be best suited for.
