Edison's Mission
It is our mission at Edison Middle School to work collaboratively to place the focus on the academic, social, and emotional needs of each individual student first and ensure that ALL students are prepared for post-secondary education.
First Day of School is Wednesday, August 20! If you are dropping off your student, remember that Prairie Street is one way going north during drop-off and pick-up. Cars coming from the west (turning left onto Prairie) may pull over on the left side of Prairie, and cars coming from the east (turning right onto Prairie) pull over on the right side of Prairie.
First Day of School: what to bring? Band instruments are not necessary. A notebook and pencil would be helpful.
Physical and Dental forms: Remember to turn in your student's physical form and dental form to the school office. Physicals are due no later than October 15th or the student will not be able to attend school. County Market Max Dollars for Education: if you're a County Market shopper and wish to designate Edison as your Max card school, sign up at www.myCountyMarket.com or at the customer service desk at any store. Our school code is 14088.
Spirit Wear Orders: if you didn't place a Spirit Wear order at registration, don't worry! Attached are forms for both the 'bling' shirts and the regular Edison logo items. Send your order and payment to school in an envelope marked 'PTSA Spirit Wear.' Orders submitted by September 1 will be ready at Open House. Orders received after September 1 will be delivered in time for the winter holidays.
