Edison's Mission

It is our mission at Edison Middle School to work collaboratively to place the focus on the academic, social, and emotional needs of each individual student first and ensure that ALL students are prepared for post-secondary education.

 

Band Patrons Meeting is tonight (Monday Dec 7), 7 pm in the band room.

The next AV Arts club meeting will be next Wednesday Dec 9 after school. The CU Films Society will be here to show students how to operate the movie camera. There will also be updates on other projects coming up. The meeting will be in room 316.

December Band Concert will be Friday Dec 11 at 7 pm in the Edison auditorium.

Thanks for the Box Tops collected so far this year!  We will receive a check for $260 for the Box Tops we have collected and now it's time to start again.  Mrs. Wells is collecting them for new PE equipment. You may send them into her or give them to any teacher to put in her mailbox. Thanks for the support!!

Good luck to our 7th/8th grade boys basketball teams tonight as they host Danville South View.  The 7th grade game begins at 4:15 pm.

Our 6th grade basketball team will also be in action.  They face Monticello at Douglas Center beginning at 6:15 pm tonight.

All 7th and 8th grade girls basketball players must turn in their gym bag by tomorrow.

All 6th graders and volleyball players who have paperwork to turn in please do so by 3 pm today.

Calling all wrestlers: Wrestling begins tonight at 3 pm.  Please meet Coach Claxton in the south gym at 3 pm and come prepared to wrestle (tshirt/shorts/sweat pants/water bottle). Remember you can only attend if you have been cleared by Ms. Borchardt.  Check the list outside the cafeteria.  You must have a YES in the last column.  Wrestling is open to boys and girls.
