[Edison-PTSA] Exchange Student needs a host family by tomorrow

Edison families,
A host family situation fell through and the exchange student (information below) is in desperate need of a place to
stay.  If you're interested in becoming a host family for Jorge today, please contact Betsy Barclay at 217-766-2924 or lexijoma@gmail.com

BUILD BRIDGES ~ SHARE THIS GREAT COMMUNITY WITH A YOUNG PERSON!!

Host families, communities and schools are enriched by the experience of hosting. We have sons and daughters from around the world to share our lives with. CIEE students speak English and arrive in August with the appropriate visa, medical insurance, and spending money. Become a host, an ambassador, a mentor and a new parent to a friendly and adventurous loving young person who wants to learn about you, your family and community.  By hosting our children will learn more about the world, possibly a new language and will discover a whole new culture. Please contact Betsy Barclay at 217.766.2924, or by email lexijoma@gmail.com so we can work together to find a great fit for you and your family! Visit our website http://www.ciee.org/highschool/host for more information and to begin your host family application.

Below are students that are in immediate need of families and we have more coming:

FSL14081 - Boy. Jorge is a 17 year old boy born in ROMANIA, but living in SPAIN. Hello, my name is Jorge. I am an easy-going person that enjoys doing different things and meeting new people. I come from a family of three children - I am in the middle of two sisters - and I have a lot of cousins. My favorite hobby is sports. Since childhood I have practiced many of them (soccer, tennis, skiing, cycling). I have watched some US football matches of the NFL on TV and although I do not understand the rules I would love to practice it, especially in the position of quarterback. I also like movies and television series. My favorite is Two and a Half Men especially Charlie Sheen and Jake and I like the jokes between them. DPOK GPA: 2.60 SLEP Score: 46 Program Length: 10 months Orientation: Private School: No. Allergies: None
