Edison's Mission
It is our mission at Edison Middle School to work collaboratively to place the focus on the academic, social, and emotional needs of each individual student first and ensure that ALL students are prepared for post-secondary education.
December Band Concert is tonight! (Friday Dec 11) at 7 pm in the Edison auditorium.
Looking for a holiday gift for your future Central student? Central High School PTSA Spiritwear Orders- We will place the last order of the year this Friday. We have the new and classy Quarter Zip Charcoal Sweatshirts with the left chest emblem ($30) and the soft and cozy Full Zip Hooded Sweatshirts with the left chest emblem ($30) available for your holiday giving! We also have classic Central Maroon tshirts ($10). Please e-mail your order to Janet Roadcap at jsroadcap@yahoo.com by this Friday (11th) at noon to receive them by the end of next week. (note: unfortunately, we will not have Edison Spiritwear available for online ordering this holiday season, though we do have extra product for sale. Details coming soon)
The Champaign-Urbana Elks Lodge #2497 invites all boys and girls ages 8-13 to a local free-throw shooting contest on Sunday December 13, 12:30 pm at Unity Junior High in Tolono. This is a national contest so six local champions will advance with the chance to participate in the state finals in Chicago. For more information, contact Roger or Lisa Quinn, 217-684-2008.
Thanks for the Box Tops collected so far this year! We will receive a check for $260 for the Box Tops we have collected and now it's time to start again. Mrs. Wells is collecting them for new PE equipment. You may send them into her or give them to any teacher to put in her mailbox. Thanks for the support!!
