Athletic Events for Nov. 28 - Dec. 19

 

 

Anyone trying out for wrestling or volleyball MUST attend all specified days for tryouts.

 

 

Required paperwork includes:

1.  current physical (if you have a sixth grader and you turned the physical in to the office please let me

    know).  Phsycial form is attached

2.  Completed Champaign Unit 4 form (attached)

3.  Copy of your insurance card or medical card

     Wrestling parent meeting at 5 pm in the cafeteria

 

     7VB tryouts in north gym from 4:30 until 6 pm

 

     8VB tryouts in north gym from 6:00 until 7:30 am

     7/8 BBB versus Monticello, 4:15 pm

     7VB tryouts in north gym from 4:30 until 6 pm

It is our mission at Edison Middle School to work collaboratively to place the focus on the academic, social, and emotional needs of each individual student first and ensure that ALL students are prepared for post-secondary education.

• Madrigal Dinner: Champaign Central High School will host its 32nd Annual Madrigal Dinner on Saturday December 8 and Sunday December 9 at 5:00 pm. Please join us for an evening of festive music, dinner, wassail, boar's heads, jesters, kings and queens, and lords and ladies, and other trappings of pre-enlightenment Europe.Tickets are $20 per adult, $10 per child 12 and under, and must be reserved by Wednesday, December 5th for dinners. • Future Facilities Meeting: Please join us for the Future Facilities Community Meeting on November 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Booker T. Washington STEM Academy. We will discuss the future of our school buildings and would love to hear from you! • Perfect Attendance Contest: Edison students will have a chance to win a Kindle Fire by having perfect attendance. See attached flyer for more info

 

• Mini-Grants: Teachers be on the lookout for information regarding application for Mini-Grants. The deadline for submitting application for Mini-Grants is December 5^th.
