Edison's Mission
It is our mission at Edison Middle School to work collaboratively to place the focus on the academic, social, and emotional needs of each individual student first and ensure that ALL students are prepared for post-secondary education.
6th Grade Orientation is tomorrow (August 15, 2014) 9-10:15 am or 5:30-6:45 pm. Students need attend only one session. See attached invitation and agenda for more information.
Physical and Dental forms: Remember to turn in your student's physical form and dental form to the school office. Physicals are due no later than October 15th or the student will not be able to attend school. School Supply List: is attached for your shopping convenience.
County Market Max Dollars for Education: if you're a County Market shopper and wish to designate Edison as your Max card school, sign up at www.myCountyMarket.com or at the customer service desk at any store. Our school code is 14088.
Spirit Wear Orders: if you didn't place a Spirit Wear order at registration, don't worry! We will have order forms at 6th grade orientation and Open House. Or, watch the PTSA Announcements for an order form you can complete at home and send to school with your student.
Cyberbullying is a public health challenge with the potential to disrupt or destroy the lives of children, adolescents, and their families. See attachment for a list of resources for identifying, combating, and coping with cyberbullying.
