Hello Edison Parents/Guardians,
I wanted to pass along a message about next week at Edison. I received a message from our Director of Maintenance letting me know that our boiler is not functioning properly and is scheduled to be fixed mid to late next week. Because the temperatures are going to be in the 40s and 50s next week, the building will be cool. Because of this, I am letting you know that our Building Council has agreed that students will be able to wear their coats into the classroom (must be unzipped for safety reasons) and worn throughout the school day. I will send a follow up email when I hear that the boiler has been fixed. I appreciate everyone's support in this matter and will keep you posted as I hear more news about the situation. As always, your children are my priority and I apologize in advance for any discomfort the temperature may bring, but can assure you that learning will continue during this time at Edison.
