Edison's Mission
It is our mission at Edison Middle School to work collaboratively to place the focus on the academic, social, and emotional needs of each individual student first and ensure that ALL students are prepared for post-secondary education.

Wrestling will begin on Mon., Dec. 7 from 3 - 5 pm in the south gym (we are not starting on Mon., Nov. 30)
Parent - wrestler - coaches meeting on Tues., Dec. 8 beginning at 5:30 pm in the cafeteria
Upcoming events:
For home basketball, volleyball and wrestling events all Edison students MUST have their school ID to be admitted to the event. Admission is $1 for students and $2 for adults. Students are expected to have a ride home 15 min. after the completion of the event. Students are to leave school at 2:40 then return at 4 pm using door #6. Students are to enter gym only after receiving an admission ticket.
Any current 6th or 7th graders interested in competing in the IESA State Golf Tournament in Sept. 2016 please contact Jackie at borchaja@champaignschools.org.

Volleyball tryouts and wrestling:
Anyone interested in trying out for volleyball or participating on the wrestling team must have the following 4 pieces on file with Ms. Borchardt as of today.
1. a current physical,
2. Champaign Unit 4 form,
3. Completed waiver form
4. copy of insurance

6th grade volleyball tryouts from 4:30 until 6 pm in the north gym (in order to tryout girls must have a current physical, Champaign Unit 4 form, Completed waiver form and copy of insurance on file with Ms. Borchardt by now)
8th grade volleyball tryouts 7:30 until 9:00 pm in the north gym
