Edison's Mission
It is our mission at Edison Middle School to work collaboratively to place the focus on the academic, social, and emotional needs of each individual student first and ensure that ALL students are prepared for post-secondary education.
Congrats to our 8th grade Lady Comets on their sectional win last night. With this win the team is headed to the IESA state series this Saturday at Rochester Junior High (11:15 am)
Good luck to our 7th grade Lady Comets tonight as they play in the state championship game! (6:45 pm at Central Junior High in East Peoria, playing Morton Junior High. Admission for adults is $5.oo and $2.oo for students. Directions are attached for those who are planning to attend.
Track: All track paperwork handed out at the parent meeting is due today or your child will not be able to practice until the paperwork is turned in. All volleyball players out for track will begin their track season AFTER their volleyball season.
Volleyball: just a reminder you CANNOT be on any travel volleyball teams or any other volleyball team while you are playing volleyball for Edison.
Golf:
Any current 6th and 7th grade boy or girl interested in participating in the IESA state golf tournament in September please stop by Ms. Borchardt's room to let her know.
