Edison's Mission
It is our mission at Edison Middle School to work collaboratively to place the focus on the academic, social, and emotional needs of each individual student first and ensure that ALL students are prepared for post-secondary education.
November 12
- PTSA Meeting: Our next PTSA meeting will be Tuesday, November 13th at 7pm in the Edison Library. All are welcome to attend.
- Foreign Language Club: will meet Monday the 12th from 2:45-3:45 in room 140. We will learn the link between a red flower and a soldier. If you would like to volunteer to talk, share vetran experiences, or have information about army rations please contact hoyje@champaignschools.org
- Dylexia Workshop:
TIME; Tuesday, November 27 6:30 to 8:00 PM
LOCATION: Urbana Free Library Auditorium, 200 W. Green St. in Urbana

- Mini-Grants: Teachers be on the lookout for information regarding application for Mini-Grants. The deadline for submitting application for Mini-Grants is December 5th.
November 8
- 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Family Feast and Movie Night: Edison is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Dinner and a movie on Friday, November 16th from 6–8pm. This is for ALL Edison families–everyone is welcome to attend. Please RSVP and see attached flier for more info and to RSVP. Donations accepted but not required.
- Calendars: If you ordered a calendar of events at registration or after we have your calendar in the front office for pick up. Parents you or your student can pick them up during school hours.
